Where love of
learning begins
Language Arts

Our Language Arts program builds confident, expressive communicators by integrating reading, writing, speaking, and listening across the curriculum. Students develop strong foundational skills through phonics and early decoding strategies, progressing toward fluency, comprehension, and critical analysis of both literary and informational texts. Writing is woven throughout the day and across genres—from creative storytelling to research-based reports—encouraging students to write with clarity, voice, and purpose. Classroom discussions, presentations, and school-wide assemblies provide meaningful opportunities to practice public speaking and deepen understanding through dialogue. Throughout, students learn to communicate their ideas effectively and listen with empathy, preparing them to be thoughtful, articulate learners and citizens.
