Long Ridge Library Padlet
The weekly library experience for students is active and joyful. By providing a flexible curriculum, hands-on materials, and a catalog of print and audiobooks—including the children’s online platform and Epic Books—the objective of reaching every kind of reader and supporting a lifelong love of reading is made possible. Books for weekly read-alouds are based on classroom and seasonal themes. In addition to books, students can enjoy drawing, sewing, board games, puzzles, electric pianos, beading, building, origami, fairy furniture, and more, as time permits. Annual events such as our Book Fair, winter hot chocolate party, and discussions for parents with area professionals and author visits are also scheduled.
We invite families to check in and check out in real-time what’s happening in our Long Ridge Library. You can read about the current Long Ridge Library curriculum, special events, explore educational articles and resources, discover new and noteworthy books, and register for children’s programs at the Stamford Ferguson Library for students of all ages.
Our librarian, Marietta, will be available on-site on Mondays from 11:30 am–3:45 pm, Tuesdays from 8:30 am–1:00 pm, and Wednesdays from 8:30 am–4:00 pm.
