Performing Arts
Our multi-disciplinary themes bring a wealth of work to consider, from cultures and people across time and place to music and the performing arts. In twice-weekly music classes, students are introduced to a wide variety of instruments and sounds; they learn to read music and perform in groups, sometimes making their own instruments. Through frequent performances, our students have opportunities to act in classroom plays, participate in instrumental ensembles and perform in our annual all-school production.

Meet Our Performing Arts Specialist
While many teachers in our school are involved in organizing, producing, and directing our many great plays, performances, and performing arts experiences throughout the school year we have a dedicated music specialist that oversees our Performing Arts program.
